INTERNAL MEDICINE

Tye B. Young, DO, has been a practicing physician since 2002 specializing in internal medicine. He earned his Osteopathic Medicine degree with honors from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine before completing his internal medicine residency with the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He has over a decade of experience in hospital care including leading Hospitalist teams in Arizona and Montana. Dr. Young is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, designated a Fellow in Hospital Medicine (FHM) by The Society of Hospital Medicine, and is course trained in Wilderness Medicine by WMS. Since moving back to Chattanooga in 2013, Dr. Young has focused on outpatient (office-based) care. He is passionate about evidence-based, efficient, and personalized healthcare that includes the whole person – body, mind and spirit.

His hobbies include: running, mountain biking, hiking, mountaineering and ice climbing. He and his wife Kim enjoy many outdoor activities together and hope to inspire their children to follow in their footsteps as advocates of the healing experiences found in the great outdoors and through regular exercise.

INTERNAL MEDICINE

Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Bradley Keel, has been practicing since 2012. He earned his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at NSU Florida prior to completing his Internal Medicine residency from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine.

As a Chattanooga native, Dr. Keel began his medical career as a registered nurse after graduating from Chattanooga State. While working as an ICU nurse and on the IV Team at Erlanger Hospital, he completed his premed classes at UTC. Following medical school, Dr. Keel returned to Chattanooga to complete his residency and was involved in multiple committees to improve resident education and patient care, including the Patient Centered Care Committee and Code Committee. Additionally, Dr. Keel was elected as a National Committee Member to the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM)—a medical society comprised of hospitalists that exists to promote exceptional care for hospitalized patients; and also served as the House Staff Association Treasurer.

Since beginning his practice, Dr. Keel has been active with hospital committees focused on improving the quality of patient care, including the ER/Hospitalist Quality Committee, and the co-chair of the Sepsis Committee.

Dr. Keel and his wife Mandy grew up in Chattanooga; and, while they both left for graduate training, they were eager to return to the city they know and love. They have two beautiful children and spend much of their time off enjoying Chattanooga’s great outdoors. As an avid outdoorsman, and accomplished bowhunter, Dr. Keel loves hunting and fishing. He also enjoys surfing, hiking, and boating of any kind.
